As Abdul Rahim Ali left his hometown, along with his daily battles that he loved, he came to Cairo, and applied to work at Al-Ahaly newspaper.

The Board of Directors of Al-Ahaly newspaper meet to issue a decision to appoint Abdul Rahim Ali as a journalist in the newspaper, to kick off a new experience of professionalism and joining the Press Syndicate.

Edito-in-Chief Abdel Aal Al-Baqouri put his faith in this newcomer, namely Abdul Rahim Ali. The veteran investigative journalist, who was later considered a significant addition to the press scene.

Abdul Rahim Ali did not stop focusing on the same file that he worked on while he was in Minya, namely terrorism and political Islam groups.

And because leaders of the aforementioned groups know him personally, they were shocked to find out that Abdul Rahim Ali was assigned to work on the same file, but this time, assisted by archives by the Ministry of Interior and the facts on the ground.

Abdul Rahim Ali enters his new mission, confident of his ability and talent, and it was a chronic headache for them, whether inside Egypt or in the various capitals that take care of them.

Among the capitals that were annoyed were London, which hides terrorist figures, and even turns a blind eye to the funds that the fugitives send to their followers in Egypt.

No young journalist at the beginning of his life has suffered more than Abdul Rahim Ali.. We have two cases, the first was when he got detained and the second was his first assassination attempt.

The armed tyranny in Upper Egypt had reached its peak, and Abdul Rahim was on the lookout, and when the leaders of terrorism were unable to get rid of him, their fatwa was issued to kill him, and that fatwa was not a secret, but rather it got echoed throughout the platforms they controlled.
