Veteran journalist, Director of the Center for Middle East Studies in Paris, and Head of the Board of Directors and Editorial Board of al-Bawaba News, Abdelrahim Ali, called Thursday for a decisive international response in the face of the attacks launched by the terrorist Houthi militia against Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

He said recent calls by a host of members of the European Parliament to include the militia in global terrorism lists for using civilians as human shields, committing heinous crimes against civilians and launching cross-border attacks is a step in the right direction.

He added that the same calls also compound calls by American legislators to punish the Iran-backed group.

"The world is tightening the noose around Iran's terrorist arms in the region," Ali wrote on Facebook.
