Journalist Abdelrehim Ali, chairman of the board of directors and editor-in-chief of Al-Bawaba News, said that he had always met with the martyr Mohamed Mabrouk and a number of security and intelligence leaders at two o’clock in the afternoon, and after their meeting and during their departure, the martyr Mabrouk asked him to leave their car and the guards’ cars to get into a Renault car, which had shattered glass and dings.

Ali continued during a phone call to the Al-Hekaya program through the Shahid Net application, saying, “He told me, ‘No one, Abdelrehim, will suspect that we are riding this car,’ and if it weren’t for the traitor Mohamed Owais, the terrorists would not have been able to spot the martyr Mabrouk, because he is the only one who could have been able to pick him out in that car he was killed in.”
